Mel, 28, recently moved to London, working in marketing for a charity. Movie geek, book worm, queer rights activist.
I am a chatterbox, but only around friends. I like being by myself, but need people to feel alive. I have strong opinions, but like to think that I am open for other people's beliefs, too. I enjoy not being too busy, but standing still, especially intellectually, is a horrible thought. I can't sing or draw to save my life, but I adore and admire artists of all kind. I like to observe and to have people confide in me, but find it unsettling to be analysed. I love humour and jokes, but making fun of others is not my idea of being witty. |
Big fan of LotR, of various actors, including Craig Parker, David Tennant, John Barrowman, and actresses like Katee Sackhoff, Lisa Chappell and Chloe Sevigny. I like to try things with html and graphic design, but am not all too successful with it. I love vidding, and in my most secret dreams I am a professional editor, maybe director. I love photography, especially experimental and montage. My hero here is Jean-Pascal Imsand.
I adore movies (LotR, David Lynch, Robert Altman), TV shows (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Twin Peaks, Mercy Peak, QaF UK) and music (Common Rotation, KMS, Gramsci, WWS, Lisa Chappell). I read a lot, especially Val McDermid, Siri Hustvedt, Ian Banks and classics like Wilkie Collins and Oscar Wilde. |
